Request for textbooks must be forwarded to the Chair. Textbooks assigned to each course must be used as an integral part of the instructional process.  Instructors are encouraged to use Open Education Resources (OER). Ancillary materials and resource books are encouraged as long as they do not become the primary resource for the course. MSC subscribes to Pressbooks campus-wide for use in creating ancillary, resources, or OER.  Free desk copies of textbooks for faculty may be obtained through the Chair. Per Oklahoma State Law, desk copies may not be sold. Students can purchase textbooks through the online bookstore.
