Adjunct faculty may be appointed at various times during the academic year, as the need arises, and are generally appointed for only one semester at a time.  Appointments are made on the basis of need for additional faculty in a particular discipline.  The College maintains its right to employ “at will” and may choose not to renew an appointment regardless of probationary status.

Full-time faculty usually begin on the MSC initial placement salary schedule depending on the appointment, qualifications, and experience.  For more information please refer to the MSC Institutional Policy and Procedures Manual/ Employee Salary Schedule/Policy Statement and Procedure.
