MSC acknowledges that faculty are a major part of the retention effort. Faculty are required to submit 4-week and Mid-term grades for all classes. Retention staff will use this information to contact students that are struggling. Faculty are encouraged to make contact with students in their classes that may be at risk of dropping out or failing. Faculty can contact the Retention coordinator to request help for students who are struggling and are encouraged to submit retention reports for students who are struggling.  Early submissions allow retention specialists to make interventions.  Retention alert contributions can be made on aggies online in the class roster.
