1 Introduction
This Faculty Handbook has been prepared to supplement the Manual of Governing Policies of the Board of Regents. The book contains a condensed version of the policies and procedures that applies directly to full-time and adjunct faculty along with other useful information.
Faculty are important to the College’s effort to meet the needs of its students. Each faculty member should read the contents of the document carefully and refer to it as the need arises. Questions not answered in this book should be directed to the Program Chair, Dean, or the Office of Academic Affairs.
The policies and procedures of MSC are constantly reviewed and updated to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff. This book will be revised as needed to reflect policy changes that apply to full-time and adjunct faculty and the performance of their responsibilities. A copy of the Manual of Murray State College Institutional Policies and Procedures is on file in the MSC Library and available on the website.
