Unit 4: Politics

Politics is ever-present within the historical context of the 20th Century and into the present day. Politics is more than politicians and individuals. How has changing politics impacted events during the 20th Century? This Unit will analyze 20th Century events outside the perspective of the dominance of the United States and the Soviet Union. Wars of liberation and decolonization will be analyzed as well as the rise of the European Community, disintegration of the former Soviet Union and rise of independence in the Middle East.
