Yes, some of your instructors might ask you to write a research paper. Okay, more than likely.

Here are two tips for this new reality:

Tip 1: You are not alone — there is help all over campus. Get help early and get help often! Research consultations with TCC librarians are available online and in-person. We can help you pick a topic, focus your research, and/or help you find your sources. And, like all of the other library services, research consultations are included in your tuition. Take advantage!

Tip 2: After you’ve met with a librarian to gather your research and written your first draft, we highly recommend working with a Writing Center tutor on draft revisions.
