8 Get to know Discovery Search
You can use TCC Library’s Discovery Search from the library homepage — put in keywords and you can limit by the type of material, date, and more. For example, below is a search on college study skills. Watch the video below become more familiar with this super helpful search tool.

Don’t forget to use the filter panel to adjust your search! You can use the “full text” filter to see only content available immediately online, so any print books you’d have to pick up from the library would be eliminated from your search. You can also look for a specific format, like articles, videos, and ebooks.
Try it: Can you find out if you can stream the HBO documentary Student Athlete online through the library. (Hint: the answer is yes!) Try finding it using our Discovery Search.
