Informal Presentation

Composition II (ENGL 1213): Informal Presentation

As part of our reading discussions, you will present a brief analysis of an assigned article to the class. Choose one of the readings scheduled for the day of your presentation (see our syllabus). You may also use this reading for your Argument Analysis assignment.

Assignment Requirements:

Compose a short informal presentation (3-5 minutes) about one of the class readings

Introduce yourself and your chosen reading

Discuss one interesting point from the reading

Discuss one strength or weakness in the reading

Pose one question for class discussion about the reading

Use correct grammar and mechanics, as well as vocabulary appropriate for a college-level presentation

❗For the informal presentation, I will keep time, but it will not count toward the grade. Time will count for the formal presentation, however.
